About the Role

The Visa Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Visa Counselor will guide clients through the end-to-end visa process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting consultations.
• Assessing client eligibility.
• Explaining visa options.
• Outlining documentation requirements.
• Collecting and reviewing client information.
• Preparing and organizing application files.
• Coordinating with embassies, consulates, or relevant authorities as needed.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of visa regulations.
• Following up with clients on pending documents.
• Tracking application status to ensure timely submissions.
• Handling client queries.
• Providing regular updates to clients.
• Supporting the team in improving processes and client service quality.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex visa procedures clearly and professionally.
• Solid organizational and documentation skills, including careful record-keeping, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess eligibility, interpret immigration guidelines, and address application issues effectively.
• Customer service skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a client-focused approach.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in office productivity tools, email, and online application portals.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred.
• Training or certification in immigration, counseling, or international education is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad.
• Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all client matters.

Preferred Experience & Knowledge

• Relevant experience in visa counseling, immigration consulting, or a related advisory role is preferred.
• Familiarity with major destination countries’ visa rules is an advantage.
