About the Role
NYC Alliance seeks a curious, motivated, and adaptable recent graduate for a rotational development program. This program is designed to build a strong understanding of business operations and prepare for future leadership opportunities through hands-on experience across multiple departments and mentorship. You will develop practical business, analytical, and problem-solving skills while contributing to day-to-day operations and cross-functional projects. You will also leverage AI tools to analyze data, improve processes, and identify opportunities to work smarter.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teams with day-to-day tasks and contribute to projects in each function.
- Learn key departmental metrics (e.g., sales, costs, productivity, customer satisfaction) and help prepare reports.
- Use AI tools to analyze data, draft reports, and automate routine tasks.
- Share ideas on where AI or process changes could improve team efficiency.
- Attend all program training sessions, workshops, and mentor check-ins.
- Reflect on learning from each rotation and present key takeaways at reviews.
- Complete and present the capstone project to leadership.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (business, economics, or management a plus).
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot, and a clear sense of how to apply them to real business problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis.
- Willingness to rotate across departments: Design, Sales, Production, Marketing, Finance, Store Operations.
