About the Role

Miral Infrastructure is an emerging player in the construction and infrastructure sector, delivering projects that focus on quality, safety, and timely execution. The organization works across a range of civil engineering projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. This is a full-time Civil Engineer – Estimation role based in Ahmedabad, structured as a hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and budgets for civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Analyze rates, materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate with design and planning teams.
• Support bid preparation and tender submissions.
• Review civil engineering designs.
• Validate site measurements.
• Update cost databases.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure estimates comply with project standards and client requirements.
• Maintain clear documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers and site engineers.
• Support project monitoring from an estimation perspective.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in estimation tools and software (e.g., MS Excel, AutoCAD, quantity take-off software).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and BOQs.

Qualifications

• Strong civil engineering fundamentals, including Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design.
• Skills in project Planning for civil works.
• Coordination with Civil Engineers and site teams.
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure design and estimation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience in estimation or project costing for construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and contract/tender procedures in India, especially in Gujarat, is beneficial.
