About the Role
Dumroo.ai is hiring a remote Software Development Intern to build and ship real features in our web product and AI services, working alongside senior engineers from design through deployment.
- Location: Remote
- Employment Type: Internship (Full-Time)
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM India Time)
- Duration: 6 months, extendable or convertible to full-time based on performance
Key Responsibilities
- Build front-end features and back-end APIs under code review from senior engineers
- Integrate AI and LLM features into the product, including prompts, APIs and evaluation
- Write unit and integration tests for the code you ship
- Fix bugs, improve performance and keep documentation current
- Join daily standups, sprint planning and code reviews
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or Python
- Familiarity with React, Node.js or a similar web framework
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, SQL databases and Git
- Familiarity with SQL databases (such as PostgreSQL) and backend-as-a-service platforms like Supabase, including database operations, authentication, and API integration.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Clear written English and the ability to work independently in a remote team
Nice to have
- Experience calling LLM APIs or building AI-powered features
- Exposure to AWS, GCP or Azure, and to Docker
- Personal projects, open-source work or a GitHub profile you can share
