MAISON DE TEMPTRESS is an emerging fashion house specializing in women’s wear, born in London and meticulously crafted in India. The brand is built on glamour, femininity, and seduction, offering statement pieces that blend contemporary style with refined craftsmanship. This role offers a compelling creative environment for talented team members who want to help grow a luxury label and contribute to its distinctive identity.
The Fashion Designer will work full-time in a hybrid setup, based primarily in Hyderabad with some work-from-home flexibility. This role offers a strong opportunity to contribute creatively to a distinctive luxury brand and help shape its collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualising and sketching collections
- Developing mood boards
- Creating detailed technical drawings aligned with the brand’s glamorous, feminine, and seductive aesthetic
- Selecting fabrics and materials
- Overseeing embroidery and surface ornamentation
- Collaborating with pattern makers and tailors to ensure precise fits and high-quality construction
- Participating in fittings
- Refining samples based on feedback
- Ensuring designs are production-ready
- Coordinating with merchandising and marketing teams
- Staying informed about luxury fashion trends
- Maintaining brand consistency across all product lines
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including conceptualisation, sketching, and collection development
- Skills in Textiles and Embroidery, with an understanding of fabric behaviour, surface embellishment, and luxury materials
- Fitting skills to evaluate garment drape, structure, and comfort, and translate feedback into pattern and design adjustments
- Relevant skills such as pattern-making knowledge, technical drawing, and familiarity with design software (Adobe Illustrator, CAD tools)
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment
Experience & Education
- A degree or formal training in Fashion Design or a related field is highly advantageous.
- A portfolio demonstrating luxury or high-end womenswear is highly advantageous.
