About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Champions Thrifty White programs like Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx.
- Supports the Pharmacist in clinical service offerings.
- Counts, measures, and packages medication for prescription fulfillment.
- Inputs prescriptions into the computer for insurance transmission.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Qualifications
- No experience is necessary for most Pharmacy Technician positions.
- Opportunity to become a Certified Technician within 9 months through Thrifty White's Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
- Training includes online modules, internal video trainings, and hands-on training with a designated preceptor.
Physical Demands
- May include long periods of standing.
- Use of hands and fingers, handling/operating objects, tools, or controls.
- Reaching with hands and arms.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
