About the Role

The New Product Development Engineer (Mechanical) role at BALVI fabrication is a hybrid position based in RK Iconic, Sheetal Park, Rajkot, Gujarat, with flexibility for some work at the shapar-veraval factory. This role offers a practical environment for learning, innovation, and hands-on project experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of new mechanical products.
• Prepare and update CAD models and technical drawings.
• Support prototype fabrication and testing activities.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze design feasibility.
• Review material specifications.
• Suggest improvements for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Prepare documentation and maintain project records.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams.
• Contribute to problem-solving for ongoing development projects.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational skills in mechanical design.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
