About the Role

The Department of Genetics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Research Associate positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year, with continuation and renewal based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and carrying out genetic experiments.
• Preparation of manuscripts.
• Supervision of students.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Human genetics
• Developmental genetics
• Epigenetics
• Functional genomics
• Computational genomics

Qualifications

• An M.D. and/or Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
• Opportunity to receive mentorship in grants writing and grants proposals.
