About the Role

84 Lumber, a family-owned company and the nation’s largest privately held supplier of building materials, is hiring immediately for a Lumberyard Associate.

Key Responsibilities

• Build loads for deliveries
• Load and unload lumber and building supplies
• Operate a forklift
• Keep management aware of any delays or discrepancies
• Keep the lumber yard clean, well-organized, and safe
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information to others one-on-one
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or two-step instructions
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
