Social Media & Content Creator Intern

About the Role

MastryHub is seeking a Social Media & Content Creator Intern to support the planning, creation, and publishing of content across social media platforms and other digital channels. You will assist in developing content calendars, drafting posts, designing visuals, and creating short-form videos, reels, and User-Generated Content (UGC) that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing content calendars.
• Draft social media posts.
• Design visuals for social media content.
• Create short-form videos, reels, and User-Generated Content (UGC).
• Contribute to creating authentic, engaging content showcasing the brand, its community, events, and initiatives.
• Monitor engagement on social media platforms.
• Respond to comments where appropriate.
• Track content performance.
• Gather insights to improve reach and engagement.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm campaign ideas.
• Explore new content formats.
• Assist with copywriting for blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Work towards and meet predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to content output, engagement, reach, and other assigned performance metrics.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in social media content creation, including writing captions, graphic design, and short-form video editing.
• Experience with platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Foundational digital communication skills, including clear written English, visual storytelling, adapting tone and style for different audiences.
• Comfort with on-camera communication and presenting ideas through engaging video content.
• Basic knowledge of social media trends, analytics tools, and platform best practices.
• Collaboration and organizational skills, including the ability to follow a content calendar, meet deadlines, and coordinate with cross-functional team members.
• A learning mindset, with openness to feedback, willingness to experiment with new formats, and interest in developing long-term skills in marketing and content creation.

Qualifications

• Relevant coursework or training in marketing, communications, media, design, or related fields is beneficial.
• Prior internship or project experience in content creation is a plus.

This internship is based in Bangalore Urban and follows a hybrid work model.
