Job Details

• Base Pay: $17.25 per hour
• Shift Differential: $0.85 per hour
• Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday, 3pm-11pm)
• Benefits: Start Day 1
• Vacation: 80 Hours
• On-Demand Pay Program

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the warehouse with crating, pulling product, and unloading trucks.
• Ensure accurate order fulfillment for customer satisfaction.
• Visually inspect cartons, repair and rebox as needed to ensure structural soundness for sale.
• Load loose cartons into trucks to ensure stability during shipment.
• Collect wood product for the set-up and construction of crates.
• Build crates from wooden materials around cartons of product in preparation for shipment by flatbeds.
• Consolidate accessory and siding products on storage racks when needed.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on motorized equipment.
• Perform warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings with the Distribution Supervisor, if necessary.
• Perform basic duties of Warehouse Associate 2, based on ability and experience.
• Maintain an accurate time card daily and calculate on a weekly basis.
• Actively participate in all plant safety programs.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Mechanical aptitude helpful.
• Basic knowledge of shipping process helpful.
• Good eye/hand coordination.
• Excellent manual dexterity, including skill to use hand and electrical tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend numbers.
• Ability to lift up to 86 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Ability to lift 87 to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Detailed oriented.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to interact well with others.
• Ability to separate product by profiling color.
• Proficient in the use of a claw hammer, pneumatic nail gun, pneumatic bander, and an electric skill saw.
• Willing to obtain a license to operate motorized equipment.
• May need to be certified to operate a crane (if applicable).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment with exposure to equipment noise, temperature extremes, and dust.
• Position requires continual lifting, twisting, and bending.
• Requires utilization of safety glasses and ear plugs as instructed.

Safety

• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals.
• Required to wear or use personal protective equipment as applicable.
• Immediately report unsafe working conditions.
