About the Role

The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing and developing interior concepts for residential and commercial projects. This role ensures a cohesive vision from initial briefing through final execution. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand requirements.
• Prepare design presentations and mood boards.
• Develop space plans.
• Coordinate architectural and construction drawings with project teams and vendors.
• Select FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment).
• Prepare detailed specifications.
• Oversee site work to ensure design quality and adherence to timelines.
• Collaborate with the studio team, consultants, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills.
• Ability to translate client needs into functional, aesthetic solutions.
• Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings.
• Ability to read, develop, and coordinate technical documentation.
• Experience in FF&E selection, specification, and coordination.
• Awareness of materials, finishes, and current design trends.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Attention to detail.
• Problem-solving capability.
• Willingness to engage in site visits and vendor coordination.
• Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects in Mumbai or similar urban contexts is an advantage.
