About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in New Delhi.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate client requirements into cohesive design concepts, including mood boards, layouts, and detailed drawings.
- Perform space planning.
- Develop interior schemes.
- Select materials and finishes.
- Coordinate FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment).
- Prepare construction drawings and documentation.
- Work closely with architects, contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained through execution.
- Participate in site visits.
- Review work quality.
- Manage timelines related to design deliverables.
- Support presentations and client meetings.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
Qualifications
- Strong interior design and space planning skills, with the ability to create functional and aesthetically balanced layouts.
- Knowledge of architecture principles and experience collaborating with architectural and construction teams.
- Proficiency in preparing accurate construction drawings and technical documentation for execution.
- Experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials sourcing.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Strong visual communication skills, including the ability to create clear presentations, mood boards, and 3D visualizations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and familiarity with local building codes and construction practices in New Delhi.
