Placement & tech Intern

About the Role

Newton School of Technology (NST) is seeking a Placement & Tech Intern to assist B.Tech CSE students in their technical and placement readiness. This role involves working with DSA, AI, student engagement, placement operations, and data tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Student Readiness & Tech Support

• Support students with DSA and AI-focused preparation.
• Track student progress and identify students needing support.
• Help students prepare for technical assessments and interviews.
• Conduct readiness checks and follow up on preparation activities.

Placement Operations & Coordination

• Coordinate placement drives, interviews, schedules, and student applications.
• Maintain placement trackers, dashboards, and student records.
• Coordinate with students, academic teams, and recruiters.

Student Engagement & Communication

• Communicate placement updates, opportunities, eligibility, and deadlines.
• Address student queries and coordinate resolutions.
• Conduct student briefings and follow-ups.

Data & Reporting

• Track applications, interview stages, offers, and student drop-offs.
• Analyze placement data and identify key trends.
• Maintain reports using Excel and Google Sheets.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Pursuing/recent B.Tech/B.E in CSE, IT, or related fields.
• Strong programming fundamentals and DSA.
• Good coding and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in AI and technology.
• Good communication and student-handling skills.
• Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets.
• LeetCode/CodeChef/HackerRank experience encouraged.
• Strong ownership, organization, and attention to detail.
