About the Role
Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Associate. This entry-level role involves working with local municipalities and other clients alongside experienced engineers to plan, design, and manage various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of water distribution and sewer collection systems
- Storm water management and collection system layout and design
- Modeling for water and sanitary sewer systems
- Booster and pump station design
- Water treatment design
- Collaboration with other Farnsworth Group disciplines
- Project organization and execution from inception to completion
- Construction observation / resident engineering
- Environmental Assessments and Sampling
- Permit Submittals/Compliance
- Communication with clients and attendance at Council and/or Board Meetings
Requirements & Tech Stack
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 0-3 years of engineering experience
- Written and oral communication skills
- AutoCAD and/or Civil3D knowledge is a plus
- Expected to work toward FE/PE Certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent) is a plus
