2027 Summer Marketing Communications Intern

About the Role

This is a Summer Marketing Communications Intern role supporting the firm’s communications team, covering internal communications and public relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Write short articles for our intranet on topics like diversity, equity, and inclusion; new firm initiatives; and client success stories.
• Write brief articles for plantemoran.com that highlight media placements.
• Write social media posts to help share firm news or initiatives.
• Write press releases to announce firm news.
• General coordination duties including scheduling meetings, entering work into our project management system, and posting articles to our intranet.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook).
• Comfort working in a fast-paced and innovative team environment.
• Embrace AI technologies, like Copilot.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least three years of study in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or another related degree.
• Academic success with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Previous marketing internship experience; communications focus is preferred.
• This internship is designed for students currently pursuing a degree and planning to return to school following the internship. Candidates who will complete their degree requirements before or during the internship should apply for entry-level opportunities.
