Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
- Maintain the drug inventory.
- Maintain patient records.
- Present completed medications to the pharmacist for verification.
- Routinely interact with patients to ensure quality service.
- Perform other job duties where applicable.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Direct customer and patient interactions
- Exhibit problem-solving and organizational skills
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Certified as a Pharmacy Technician through a nationally accredited Pharmacy organization.
- Registered with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or application in process upon hire and obtained within 90 days of hire.
Experience
Certified Pharmacy Technician: As required by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board for Certification Exam.
Pharmacy Technician: No Experience Required.
