About the Role
Pragati Polymers is seeking a full-time, on-site Production Supervisor for their Bengaluru facility. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production activities on the shop floor, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities on the shop floor.
- Monitor production schedules.
- Allocate resources.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Supervise production output.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower.
- Resolve operational issues.
- Enforce safety and compliance protocols.
- Maintain production records.
- Identify process improvements.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Supervisory Skills: Experience leading and motivating production teams.
- Production Planning: Skilled in managing production planning to meet output and delivery timelines.
- Production Management: Demonstrated capabilities through efficient utilization of manpower and implementation of workflow optimization.
- Communication Skills: Excellent for coordinating with team members, management, and other departments.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in polymers, plastics, or packaging production.
- Knowledge of quality control standards, safety regulations, and lean or continuous improvement practices.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
