About the Role

The PCB Design and Layout Engineer will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity, focusing on designing and implementing printed circuit board layouts for complex electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Translating circuit schematics into optimized PCB layouts.
• Selecting appropriate components and footprints.
• Ensuring signal integrity and power integrity across analog, digital, and RF sections.
• Collaborating closely with circuit design, hardware, and validation teams to meet electrical, mechanical, manufacturability, and reliability requirements.
• Reviewing design constraints with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Performing design rule checks.
• Preparing fabrication and assembly documentation.
• Supporting prototype bring-up and design revisions based on test feedback.
• Following industry standards and best practices for PCB design.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Circuit Design and Electrical Engineering skills, with the ability to interpret schematics and system requirements.
• Board Layout expertise, including layer stack-up design, routing strategies, component placement, and DFM/DFT considerations.
• Analog design knowledge for handling mixed-signal circuits, power supplies, and noise-sensitive layouts.
• Radio Frequency (RF) design and layout skills for high-speed and RF boards, including impedance control and signal integrity.
• Proficiency with industry-standard PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, Mentor Xpedition) and related workflows.
• Understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes, materials, and relevant industry standards (e.g., IPC).
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field; relevant experience in PCB design for embedded or
