Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Software Developer Intern for the Jenga B Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Basic software development experience to develop applications using Python, JavaScript, and other tools based on requirements.
• Use GitLab for code management, including bug tracking, testing, and push to production.
• Research, solve problems, and carry out tasks with minimal supervision.
• Create and/or update documentation/instructions as directed.
• Ability to work well remotely with a virtual team.

Requirements & Tech Stack

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university.
• Will be enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
• Majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Familiarity with Java, C#, or C/C++.

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher.
• Previous internship/co-op experience.
• Leadership & teamwork capabilities.
• Interpersonal communication skills.
• Good presentation and writing/communication skills.
• Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment.
• Web development (HTML, CSS).
• Preferably experience with Python Flask web framework, Gunicorn, and NGINX.
• Familiarity with Linux operating system (package installation/removal, file permissions, network configuration, shell environment, etc.).
• Familiarity with Powershell, MongoDB, Ansible, Git.
• Exposure to basic networking (e.g., routing/switching and security).

Intern Pay Range

• Bachelor’s: $21.50 to $39.00 per hour
• Master’s: $30.50 to $48.00 per hour
