Research and Development Year Round Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and support food scientists and technicians.
• Successfully complete a high volume of Research and Development projects daily.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and apply them to assigned tasks.
• Ensure data collection/entry, product evaluations, and hand samples are successfully completed each day.
• Assist with pilot plant/plant trials, as needed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Education: Must be in good standing; entering Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year, or pursuing a Master's or Doctorate degree. Food Science, Animal Science, and other Agriculture and Business majors preferred. Must have at least one year of school remaining.
• Experience: Previous work experience in any field preferred. Experience related to R&D and Food Science preferred.
• Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel, familiarity with Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Special Skills: Ability to multitask, motivated self-starter, and collaborative.
• Work Hours: Must be able to work 40 hours through the summer and up to 25 hours throughout the school year.
