About the Role
The Okta Workflow Consultant will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity, collaborating with clients and internal teams to design, implement, and optimize Okta workflows for IAM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements.
- Configure and test Okta workflows.
- Integrate applications and data sources.
- Troubleshoot workflow-related issues.
- Document solution designs.
- Create reusable workflow templates.
- Ensure implementations align with security and compliance best practices.
- Conduct training sessions, knowledge transfers, and workshops for clients and learners.
- Provide consulting support on IAM processes and enhancements.
- Coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.

- SQL (for querying, analyzing, and validating data)
- Knowledge of API-based integrations
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills for understanding complex IAM requirements, identifying workflow improvements, and solving technical and process-related issues.
- Consulting and Business Process skills to gather requirements, map current and future-state IAM processes, and advise stakeholders on best practices for Okta workflow implementation.
- Training skills to deliver clear, structured instruction, create training materials, and support learners and clients in adopting Okta workflows and IAM methodologies.
- SQL skills to query, analyze, and validate data used in workflows and integrations, and to support troubleshooting of data-related issues.
- Familiarity with IAM concepts and standards.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Additional beneficial qualifications include:
- Hands-on experience with Okta (especially Okta Workflows).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Prior experience in IAM consulting or implementation projects.
