About the Role
LearningShala is an online higher education guidance platform founded in 2017. The organization specializes in expert counseling and personalized 1:1 guidance, helping learners compare 55+ top online universities across 40+ factors. The team is focused on transparent, student-centric advice that helps individuals make confident education and career choices.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide structured guidance to students exploring online degree programs and career pathways.
- Help students align their education choices with long-term professional goals.
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions.
- Assess student interests and aptitudes.
- Explain program options.
- Recommend suitable universities and courses.
- Maintain accurate counseling records.
- Collaborate with mentors and admissions teams.
- Support students through application, enrollment, and early academic transitions.
- Contribute to workshops or informational sessions.
- Provide follow-up support.
- Ensure counseling is unbiased, data-driven, and aligned with LearningShala’s trust-first approach.
Qualifications
- Strong Career Counseling and Student Counseling skills, with experience guiding learners through academic and career decisions.
- Skills in Career Development and Career Management to help students plan long-term pathways and navigate transitions in their professional journeys.
- Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear articulation, and the ability to explain complex options in simple language.
- Familiarity with higher education systems, online degree programs, and job market trends is beneficial.
- Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds, maintain confidentiality, and offer unbiased, data-driven guidance.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Formal counseling certification is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Comfort with digital tools and CRM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
