About the Role
The Social Media Marketing Intern will support Sonar Sansar’s online presence by assisting in the planning, creation, and publishing of content across social media platforms. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Haora, requiring consistent presence in the showroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting posts for social media platforms.
- Capturing and curating visuals of products and in-store activities.
- Engaging with followers through comments and messages.
- Monitoring basic performance metrics.
- Collaborating with the marketing and sales teams to align social media campaigns with brand goals, product launches, and promotional activities.
Requirements & Tech Stack

- Familiarity with major platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp Business).
- Foundational knowledge of Digital Marketing and Marketing concepts.
- Audience targeting
- Basic analytics
- Campaign execution
- Strong Communication skills (written and verbal).
- Creativity and visual sense for showcasing jewellery products.
- Basic skills in photography, video creation, or editing considered an advantage.
- Interest in fashion, jewellery, or retail sectors.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt.
- Comfort working on-site in Haora.
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse team in a professional showroom setting.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, or a related field is preferred.
