Financial Analyst

• Analyze financial data, trends, and business performance to provide actionable insights.
• Build and maintain basic financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and planning.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and MIS.
• Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget) and explain key drivers.
• Support budgeting and forecasting (FP&A) cycles.
• Assist with valuation and investment analysis (DCF, ROI, NPV, IRR).
• Review financial statements and track key financial KPIs.
• Create dashboards and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business teams through online tools.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable with video meetings and online collaboration tools.
• Stable internet connection and own laptop.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or related field.
• MBA/CFA pursuing preferred.
• Internships count.
• Good understanding of financial statements, ratios, and accounting basics.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• CFA Level 1 (cleared or pursuing), CA Inter, or similar certification.
• Internship experience in finance, FP&A, or investment banking.
• Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau for data visualization.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or VBA/Macros.
• Exposure to accounting tools (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
• Prior experience working remotely.
