Junior .PHP Developer

About the Role

Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using PHP.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code.
• Work with MySQL databases for data management, queries, and basic database operations.
• Develop and maintain website features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Assist in API integration and backend development.
• Identify, debug, and resolve basic coding issues and technical errors.
• Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and other team members to deliver projects on time.
• Perform website testing, bug fixing, and performance improvements.
• Follow coding standards, maintain documentation, and learn new technologies as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; freshers with relevant skills are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of PHP, Core PHP, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOPs) and MVC architecture is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of database management, SQL queries, and REST APIs is preferred.
• Familiarity with Laravel or CodeIgniter will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems is a plus.
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work collaboratively in a team.
