About The Role
Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join its Command team. This role focuses on making complex email management effortless through natural language interfaces and AI-driven experiences, aiming to make the full power of SES accessible to every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support next-generation configuration and onboarding experiences.
- Build natural language interfaces that replace complex APIs.
- Produce robust, efficient, and maintainable code at a massive scale.
- Work on challenging problems at the intersection of AI/ML, distributed systems, and customer experience.
- Continuously challenge existing solutions and explore improvements to meet evolving customer needs.
- Participate in setting the vision and roadmap for unified configuration experiences.
- Drive algorithm and architecture design for AI-powered tooling.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Strong design and coding skills.
- Expert knowledge in large-scale distributed system design and engineering best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Passion for reimagining customer interactions with cloud services through natural language and AI-driven experiences.
