About the Role

Arctic Grey is hiring eCommerce Managers. This is a 100% remote position with a transparent 5-Level Career Ladder. The company is a multi-award-winning Shopify Platinum Partner powering over $5 billion in merchant revenue across 1,000+ stores.

Career Ladder & Compensation

• L1 Junior eCommerce Manager — $40,000
• L2 eCommerce Manager — $60,000
• L3 Senior eCommerce Manager — $80,000
• L4 Account Executive — $110,000
• L5 Senior Account Executive — $150,000+

Progression is based on taking ownership of more projects and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily client communication and relationship ownership.
• Project oversight, timelines, and coordination with the design + development team.
• Final quality assurance before client deployment.
• Reporting, documentation, and proactive problem-solving.
• Support senior managers initially, progressing to solo ownership of Shopify Plus accounts.

Hours

• L1–L3: Strict Monday–Friday, 9–5 Eastern Time.
• L4–L5: Core hours plus limited emergency coverage on certain high-stakes projects.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Deep knowledge of Shopify (themes, apps, checkout, admin).
• Sufficient technical understanding to work directly with developers.
• Experience managing clients or projects.
• Clear, quick, and direct communication skills (written and verbal).
• Desire for performance-tied compensation.
• A-player mindset with a commitment to projects, clients, and teammates.
• Ability to operate on Eastern Time.

• Experience managing clients or projects, or a sharp junior who learns quickly and is honest about their learning pace.
• Ability to communicate clearly, quickly, and directly.
• Willingness to tie compensation to performance.
• A tenacious approach to problem-solving.

The Deal

• 100% remote work.
• Independent contractor status; invoice monthly in USD.
• Guaranteed base pay plus commission on owned projects.
• Additional sales commissions and bonuses for 5-star client reviews.
• 22 paid business days off per year (after 6 months).
• 30-day paid evaluation period.
• Reporting to the founders.
