About the Role
The Site Engineer role is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing project execution and coordination for commercial kitchen installations and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing technical drawings
- Planning site activities
- Monitoring project progress
- Ensuring work complies with structural and civil engineering standards and company quality guidelines
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues
- Managing timelines
- Supporting on-site teams through remote supervision and guidance
- Participating in quality control checks
- Documenting project status
- Preparing reports
- Recommending improvements in design and installation processes
- Regular communication and coordination with stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project completion
Qualifications
- Strong on-site supervision and project coordination skills, with the ability to support and guide field teams remotely.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and internal teams, including clear reporting and documentation abilities.
- Quality control and inspection skills to ensure compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and company processes.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field are preferred.
- Experience in construction, industrial, or hospitality projects is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, CAD tools, and basic project management practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage multiple projects, and adapt to evolving client requirements and industry standards is desirable.
