Analyst [Java] Backend Engineer

About the Role

Saatvik Agro is seeking an Analyst [Java] Backend Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is suitable for fresh graduates and experienced technology professionals interested in Java backend development, software engineering, REST APIs, databases, microservices, cloud technologies, enterprise applications, system integration, automation, and modern backend-engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Java-based backend services, APIs, databases, internal platforms, enterprise applications, automation solutions, and digital systems.
• Collaborate with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, production, supply chain, finance, sales, and other business teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, collections, exception handling, interfaces, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, multithreading, concurrency, and clean coding practices.
• REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, API integration, and system integration.
• SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of database design, normalization, joins, indexing, transactions, schemas, CRUD operations, queries, query optimization, and data-access concepts.
• Microservices architecture, distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, scalable backend services, or event-driven systems exposure.
• Maven, Gradle, Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
• Unit testing, integration testing, API testing, or automated testing.
• Messaging systems, caching, message queues, asynchronous processing, scheduled jobs, background processing, or event-driven architecture exposure.
• Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, environment configuration, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts.
• API security concepts (e.g., OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, secure coding, input validation, encryption).
• Application performance optimization, database tuning, connection pooling, caching strategies, scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, observability, and troubleshooting.
• ORM technologies, repositories, persistence layers, entity relationships, transactions, and backend data-access patterns.
• Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, user stories, sprint planning, or issue tracking familiarity.
• Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into practical, reliable, scalable, maintainable, and secure Java backend solutions.
• Willingness to work on-site.
• Strong willingness to learn new Java technologies, backend frameworks, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, testing tools, and modern software-engineering practices.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in Java backend development, backend engineering, software development, application development, API development, enterprise software, or related technology roles.
• Freshers and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates without previous full-time Java backend-development experience can also apply.
