Account Executive

About the Role

NYAI is building AI-driven legal technology solutions that help simplify complex legal workflows through innovation and technology. We are looking for a commerce graduate with a strong foundation in accounting and taxation who is eager to learn and contribute to our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial record maintenance.
• Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and supporting financial documents.
• Support GST-related activities, including IGST, CGST, and SGST.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and banking-related transactions.
• Support the preparation of company MIS reports, Profit & Loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and payment records.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and assist with month-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to collect and maintain finance-related information.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• B.Com graduate or equivalent commerce qualification.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Knowledge of taxation and GST, including IGST, CGST, and SGST.
• Understanding of banking operations, ledgers, and bank reconciliation.
• Basic knowledge of company MIS reporting and Profit & Loss statements.
• Familiarity with MS Excel, including formulas and data management.
• Good numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
• A willingness to learn, take ownership, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

• Internship or practical exposure in accounting, taxation, or finance.
• Familiarity with Tally/Tally Prime.
• Exposure to invoicing, GST documentation, and financial reporting.
• Basic understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
