About the Role

Saatvik Agro is seeking an Analyst Java Backend Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India. This role is suitable for both fresh graduates and experienced professionals interested in Java backend development, software engineering, REST APIs, databases, microservices, cloud technologies, enterprise applications, system integration, automation, and modern backend-engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Java-based backend services, APIs, databases, internal platforms, enterprise applications, automation solutions, and digital systems.
• Collaborate with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, production, supply chain, finance, sales, and other business teams.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, collections, exception handling, interfaces, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, multithreading, concurrency, and clean coding practices.
• REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, API integration, and system integration.
• SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Maven, Gradle, Git, GitHub, and version control.
• JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Postman, and automated testing.
• Messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
• Basic understanding of Linux and command-line tools.
• Familiarity with security concepts such as OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, and secure coding.
• Application performance optimization and troubleshooting.
• ORM technologies and backend data-access patterns.
• Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into reliable, scalable, maintainable, and secure Java backend solutions.
• Willingness to work on-site.
• Strong willingness to learn new technologies and practices.

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Freshers and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, or similar Java backend frameworks will be beneficial.

Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar relational and NoSQL databases will be beneficial.

Understanding of database design, normalization, joins, indexing, transactions, schemas, CRUD operations, queries, query optimization, and data-access concepts will be advantageous.

Exposure to service-oriented architecture, scalable backend services, or event-driven systems will be beneficial but is not mandatory.

Familiarity with branching, pull requests, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.

Exposure to unit testing, integration testing, API testing, or automated testing will be beneficial.

Exposure to caching, message queues, asynchronous processing, scheduled jobs, background processing, or event-driven architecture will be considered an advantage.

Exposure to CI/CD or similar cloud and DevOps technologies will be beneficial.

Basic understanding of application deployment, environment configuration, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts will be advantageous.

Familiarity with input validation, API security, encryption, authentication, and authorization concepts will be beneficial.

Exposure to database tuning, connection pooling, caching strategies, scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, observability, and troubleshooting will be advantageous.

Familiarity with repositories, persistence layers, entity relationships, transactions, and backend data-access patterns will be beneficial.

Exposure to frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js) will be beneficial but is not mandatory.

Exposure to automation, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, generative AI, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications will be considered an additional advantage.

Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, user stories, sprint planning, or issue tracking will be advantageous but is not mandatory.

Internship, academic project, Java project, Spring Boot project, backend project, API project, database project, microservices project, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.

Candidates without previous full-time Java backend-development experience can also apply.
