Software Engineering AMTS (College Grad)

This software engineer role encompasses architecture, design, implementation, and testing to ensure products are built right and released with high quality. We are looking for college graduates to join our team of software engineers and cloud computing experts. You will have the chance to be mentored and network with senior levels at Salesforce, and be part of a year-long graduate program.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable products.
• Master and improve the development process, culture, and codebase.
• Work closely with engineers, product managers, user experience experts, and performance engineers to build new features.
• Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit/functional tests to drive code coverage and automation metrics.
• Analyze, design, and develop test cases and implement automated test suites.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong background in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Must be located in North America.
• Academic, professional, or internship experience working in a professional coding environment.
• Fluency in object-oriented programming/design.
• Academic, professional, or internship experience in one of Java, Python, Javascript, HTML, SQL, or C++.

Qualifications

Even Better If You Have:

• Experience using and critically reviewing code and artifacts generated by large language model (LLM) coding assistants and agentic tools.
• Ability to effectively guide AI tools to achieve desired outcomes.
• Experience using Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini, or other agent-based frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team-player with the ability to work effectively and efficiently with others.
• Be a self-starter and possess strong sense of self-motivation.
• Experience using telemetry and metrics to drive operational excellence.
