AI Video Generalist

About the Role

The AI Video Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position supports end-to-end video workflows powered by AI tools and automation. The role requires a strong interest in both technology and visual storytelling, the ability to learn new tools quickly, and to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with AI-driven video generation and editing software.
• Prepare and organize media assets.
• Assist in creating video content for various digital platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to test, refine, and implement AI models in video pipelines.
• Document processes and provide feedback on tool performance.
• Assist with basic post-production tasks.
• Perform quality checks and optimization of video outputs for different formats and channels.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational skills in video production, including basic editing and media organization.
• Understanding of common video formats and codecs.
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts, especially as they apply to video generation, enhancement, and automation tools.
• Strong computer literacy, including comfort with productivity software, cloud-based tools, and troubleshooting common technical issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Capacity to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-changing technology environment.
• Experience with popular video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) will be an advantage.
• Any exposure to scripting or automation (e.g., Python, basic command-line) will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience or coursework in media, film, computer science, or related fields is beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
• Freshers and professionals with a career break are welcomed.
