Security Assistant

About the Role

This position serves as the initial security point of contact for MultiCare hospitals and clinics where higher-level security officers are not deployed. It is a non-clinical position within the security department responsible for initial security assessments of individuals entering the hospital and providing a professional security presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and visitors.
• Performing initial security assessments.
• Determining the business reason for hospital/clinic entry.
• Providing courteous assistance and directions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Security experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Discretion, good judgment, a pleasant and professional manner, and articulateness required due to the highly visible nature of the role.
• Internal and external contacts.
