About the Role
The Site Engineer at RDS Digital is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for overseeing civil and structural work at project locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising on-site construction activities.
- Coordinating with civil engineers, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensuring work is executed according to design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Conducting regular inspections.
- Monitoring project progress.
- Maintaining accurate site documentation.
- Reporting deviations or issues to project managers.
- Resolving technical challenges on site.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Supporting timely project delivery within budget and scope.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site supervision skills and experience managing day-to-day construction activities.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with engineers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
- Quality control and inspection skills to ensure compliance with safety, design, and regulatory standards.
- Structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Ability to use basic site measurement tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic site environment.
- Familiarity with construction safety practices and local building codes in India is preferred.
