Entry-Level Sales and Marketing Associate

About the Role

Comp+, LLC is a full-service lighting agency founded in 2014. We partner with leading manufacturers to deliver lighting & electrical solutions for home center associates and their customers. We combine industry experience, technical knowledge, and problem-solving capabilities to help customers complete projects efficiently and on budget.

The Entry-Level Sales and Marketing Associate is a full-time role based in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys solving problems, and is detail-oriented. No prior lighting or electrical experience is required; hands-on training and a clear career path in sales will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Build relationships with contractors, Home Depot Pro merchants and associates, and manufacturers.
• Serve as the first point of contact by phone and email for our sales team, Home Depot Pro merchants, associates, and contractors.
• Support outside sales managers and agency leadership with research, analytics, quotes, and account follow-up.
• Use our CRM tool to manage the quote log, generate insights, and follow up on open quotes.
• Leverage AI tools and data analytics to generate and interpret sales reports for manufacturer partners.
• Coordinate customer meetings and trade show events.
• Help create marketing materials, product brochures, and presentations showcasing manufacturer lines and services.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction.
• Customer Service abilities, focusing on responsiveness, professionalism, and relationship building.
• Interest in and aptitude for Sales, including learning product offerings and supporting sales initiatives.
• Ability to support Training activities, such as assisting in product education.
• Basic understanding of or interest in Sales & Marketing principles.
• High level of reliability, organization, and attention to detail.
• Comfort working on-site in a retail or agency environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with CRM or AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field.
• Recent and upcoming graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Internships, part-time jobs, or campus leadership in sales, marketing, or customer service are a plus.
