- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Design advanced biochemistry questions spanning protein folding, nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, metabolic flux, and drug-target interactions.
- Write precise, step-by-step technical responses to serve as benchmarks for scientific reasoning in AI systems.
- Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and quantitative proofs for scientific accuracy.
- Identify logical errors in AI reasoning, such as incorrect stoichiometry, misapplied stereochemistry, or flawed mechanistic logic, and provide structured feedback.
- Complete task-based assignments asynchronously.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- PhD-level expertise in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related discipline (completed or in final stages).
- Strong foundational knowledge in one or more core areas: structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, bioinformatics, or molecular genetics.
- Ability to communicate complex biochemical and chemical concepts clearly and precisely in written form.
- High attention to detail when reviewing chemical equations, molecular mechanisms, and experimental protocols.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or scientific peer review.
- Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST.
- Background in science writing, curriculum development, or technical communication.
