Warehouse Sanitation

Position Details

• Pay: $18.00
• Shift: Monday-Friday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm (Possible Sundays)

Position Summary

Performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation-related job tasks in a warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas. May require operation of a pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles. General cleaning duties include sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pickup, and use of a compactor. May be required to work with cleaning chemicals. Follows all safety rules and completes duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports any unsafe conditions or acts immediately.
• Is certified to operate all required equipment.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash pickup.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Completes all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• Completes all assignments accurately and on time.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience
• Must be able to work scheduled times and required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products from shelves, and replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds throughout the shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
