Financial Analyst (Entry-Level)

About the Role

Commonwealth Rolled Products is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join its Finance team based in Lewisport, KY. This role will support the finance and operations departments by analyzing financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in maintaining a zero-incident safety culture.
• Live and champion the Commonwealth Rolled Products core values: Safety Matters, Customer Focus, One Team, and Own Excellence.
• Perform month-end analysis of actual expense versus budget and prepare reports.
• Create and post assigned Journal Entries to Oracle.
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts. Complete Balance Sheet reconciliation requirements.
• Support Finance leadership in financial analysis and other special project work.
• Continuously drive improved reporting processes.
• Assist in monthly and quarterly reporting including, but not limited to, working capital, cash conversion costs, SG&A costs, cash flow, and liquidity.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Assist in offsite physical inventory cycle counts.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products.
• Oracle (for Journal Entries)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work individually and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Work experience in the accounting or finance field (Preferred).
• Work experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferred).
