About the Role
Calibit Systems is seeking a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Software Developer to design and develop custom modules for PLM applications and integrations with ERP. This full-time role is based in Pune.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements.
- Configure and customize PLM workflows, forms, and data models.
- Write clean and efficient code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, engineering, and process improvement.
- Troubleshoot system issues.
- Optimize performance.
- Support deployments.
- Contribute to documentation and best practices for ongoing product lifecycle processes.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- PLM platforms and related tools:
- Configuration of PLM systems.
- Workflow design.
- BOM management.
- Exposure of API usage and change management processes.
- Software development skills:
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, React, or Python).
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and version control systems.
- Web and cloud technologies:
- Basic knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Manufacturing and process understanding.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, enabling close work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Relevant PLM development experience is a must.
