About the Role
FamCare is building India’s first AI-enabled safety infrastructure for home caregiving. This is an on-site role for a Quality Assurance Test Engineer based in Bengaluru. The role focuses on validating the functionality, performance, and reliability of FamCare’s software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and execute test cases.
- Perform manual testing.
- Document test results.
- Log and track defects.
- Collaborate with software developers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Support regression, integration, and user acceptance testing cycles.
- Prepare test reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure a secure, stable, and user-friendly experience.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
- Understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Skills in Manual Testing and Test Case design, including test planning, execution, and documentation.
- Basic understanding of Software Development concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Structured approach to identifying and reporting defects.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools, version control systems, or test management tools is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or having completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate in a fast-paced startup environment.
