Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions.
• Process payments accurately.
• Issue receipts.
• Maintain proper records of sales.
• Operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Balance the cash drawer at the end of shifts.
• Assist customers with billing or payment-related queries.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth checkout operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
• Provide courteous service.
• Follow company policies.
• Safeguard cash and payment information.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical accuracy and basic math skills.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems or willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills.
• Reliability, integrity.
• Ability to follow financial and security procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to work on-site in Ongole on a full-time schedule.

Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or cashier roles is beneficial but not mandatory; training may be provided.
