Apprentice

About the Role

• This is a trainee apprentice role supporting American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) India Operations.
• The role involves structured training, collaboration, and an opportunity to experience the dynamic world of American Express.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day business operations supporting GCS India.
• Assist teams and leaders in customer deliverables and control-related activities to ensure seamless service delivery and control environment.
• Ensure adherence to Company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and American Express compliance standards in all operational processes.
• Execute tasks in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain process quality in line with established guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate the smooth execution of assigned tasks, initiatives, and projects.
• Identify process improvement opportunities by recognizing gaps and recommending enhancements to increase efficiency, elevate the client/customer experience, and enhance the control environment.
• Maintain high-performance standards by ensuring effectiveness, efficiency, and quality in all deliverables.
• Provide operational support including developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, presentations, and status updates for ongoing activities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Working knowledge of MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Must be flexible to work across different shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduates in any discipline (preferably Commerce/Business Administration/Economics/Banking and Finance).
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of management.
• Demonstrate positive attitude, agility, and willingness to learn and develop.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, structured, high-volume environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple tasks within stringent time frames while maintaining accuracy.
