About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Engineer role based at JK Cement’s facility in Nimbahera, Rajasthan. The Assistant Engineer will support plant operations by monitoring equipment performance, assisting in routine inspections, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure efficient and safe production.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor equipment performance.
- Assist in routine inspections.
- Coordinate maintenance activities.
- Collect and analyze operational data.
- Help implement process improvements.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, production teams, and maintenance staff to address technical issues and optimize resource utilization.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Participate in shift-based duties as required.
Qualifications
- Strong technical and analytical skills related to engineering operations.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment.
- Skills in documentation, reporting, and use of standard engineering tools or software to support data analysis and process monitoring.
- Solid communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with cross-functional plant teams and follow clear instructions from senior engineers.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices, quality standards, and environmental compliance relevant to cement or heavy industry operations.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in Nimbahera in a shift-based environment.
- Demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a learning mindset.
- Prior internship or experience in a plant or industrial setting is an advantage.
