About the Role
The Personal Companion role is a full-time, on-site position based in South Delhi. The Personal Companion will provide day-to-day support, including personal care, home care assistance, and companionship to individuals who may require help with daily routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with mobility, hygiene, and meal times.
- Providing light household support.
- Monitoring general well-being, while maintaining privacy, dignity, and respect.
- Engaging in conversation and providing emotional support.
- Coordinating basic appointments or reminders.
- Liaising with family members or caregivers as needed.
- Following safety guidelines.
- Observing changes in health or mood.
- Reporting concerns promptly to designated contacts.
Qualifications
- Strong caregiving and elder care skills, with experience supporting individuals who need daily assistance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Home care and personal care skills, such as assistance with routines, hygiene, and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect boundaries, and follow health and safety protocols.
- Basic health awareness and ability to recognize signs of distress or changes in condition.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time on-site in South Delhi.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience as a personal companion, caregiver, or in a similar support role.
