About the Role
Flexcar is seeking a Vehicle Cleaner to prepare vehicles for members by ensuring they are clean inside and out. This role involves working at a steady pace to clean multiple vehicles efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and dry vehicle exteriors, including wheels, glass, and door jambs.
- Clean interiors to the assigned level: vacuum, wipe down surfaces, clean glass and screens, and finish trunks and door pockets.
- Work to the standard time for each car and notify leads when a car requires additional attention.
- Inspect each car upon completion and correct any missed details.
- Report any observed damage, warning lights, low fuel, or items left behind by previous members.
- Safely move and park cars on the lot.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work bay, tools, and supplies; report low stock or broken equipment to leads.
- Adhere to chemical handling and safety rules, and wear required protective gear.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Pride in finishing work; attention to detail.
- Ability to work with speed and consistency, demonstrated by prior experience in a timed environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work on your feet for a full shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Available for weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- Experience in car wash, detailing, rental or dealership lot, housekeeping, or similar hands-on roles is a plus.
- Training will be provided for candidates without prior experience who demonstrate speed and cleanliness.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
