Role Overview
- Supports primary care providers by documenting patient encounters in real time.
- Ensures accurate clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Document patient encounters accurately and promptly.
- Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes for billing and records.
- Prepare after-visit summaries for patients.
- Request and manage records to support clinical documentation.
- Support daily huddles and team communication.
- Place orders and referrals as needed.
- Assist the care team to enhance workflow and patient care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong documentation and coding skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to support a collaborative healthcare environment.
