Software Engineer, Backend

• This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and release backend systems with high correctness, reliability, and scalability requirements.
• Own and maintain key services that power our financial product ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering and business challenges.
• Interface with external financial institutions to integrate services and expand capabilities.
• Contribute to shaping engineering best practices and improving developer workflows.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Python/Django or Go (or similar backend technologies)
• Solid understanding of relational databases and transaction-safe design.

Qualifications

• 6 Months - 2 Years of hands-on software engineering experience through previous roles.
• Curiosity and interest in financial systems or a strong desire to learn.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and a problem-solving mindset.
