About the Role
Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for their surgical unit. This is a 36-hour per week position with 12-hour shifts (Day or Night). The unit is a 25-bed inpatient post-surgical specialty unit caring for adult patients recovering from various surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing and admitting patients
- Performing rounding checks
- Administering medications
- Communicating with family members
- Overall patient care responsibility
- Post-operative assessment
- Pain management
- Mobility
- Wound and ostomy care
- Management of tubes, drains, catheters, and other surgical devices
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Registered Nurse (RN) License
